Preparing for your container delivery
Access, drop zone, ground support: a few checks before the big day avoid unpleasant surprises.
A smooth delivery is prepared a few days ahead. The first point is access: gate width, height of power lines, low branches, slope of the track. A photo of each obstacle helps us choose the right vehicle.
The second point is the drop zone. It must be clear, level and large enough for the lifting arm to manoeuvre. For a 20 ft, allow a few metres of clearance around the final location.
The third point is the base. A slab is not required: stable, level ground is enough, with concrete pads or levelling supports at the four corners. A well-supported container stays square and its doors close without forcing.
On delivery day, someone must be present to show the exact location. The driver sets the container down, checks it is level and hands you the padlock keys.
